Me… Barnabus the Bucket Crab… now has my first video called The Everlasting Poo.
Your plastic waste… your poo… is on my beach. It’s not normal poo, it doesn’t go away… so it’s The Everlasting Poo.
In my video, I,m fed up with you humans trashing my beach and decide to go on a mission to tell you to sort it out.
When I first get a chance to meet you (a pair of paddling feet)… I mention, in no uncertain terms, that:
“Either wilfully”
“Or by a lack of situational awareness”
“It’s HARMFUL… and that’s just plain mean”
Then I collect my thoughts and label you as:
“APEX MEANIES”
I don’t get much response from the paddling feet… and consider that:
“I’m gunna need a bigger plan”
My idea is to pop an SOS message in a bottle, a note, in the form of a poem… aimed this time not at your feet, but at your heads… your thinking bit.
Well, this message in a bottle idea, worked a treat. It was picked up by a family who decided it a good idea to take the note, the poem, my thoughts, my mission… to responsible people, for consideration:
My note, my mission, the poem, is considered:
It’s on the sea,
It’s in it too.
Get a grip of the waste.
The Everlasting Poo.
It inspired your human consideration both, at local level and at world level… and balanced responsible thinking occured:
It was considered that:
“Useful plastic is OK”
“Everlasting Poo is not OK”
…and a pretty neat fix idea was honed:
The Planet – Clean it.
Plastic Use – Lean it.
I get the feedback from the dude, from the office, who pops out “for water”… He’s a surf dude… So cool.
After riding the wave for a while, to where I am hanging, he then leaps off the board, into the sea… and shares the good-thinking info…
To my delight, I exclaim:
“What’s that? surf dude.
A FIX?
For me… for our planet… and for… your kids?”
Up until that point… It had always been my absolute disbelief that you humans would not have been acting in a responsible manner towards your kids future….
“So they only have to worry about…
PLAY.”
“… PLAY.”
